The fruit cake itself is a decadent recipe, made from scratch in our quality kitchen using Margaret's traditional recipes. Abundant in high-quality currants, raisins, sultanas and glazed cherries and topped up with rum, it is the perfect accompaniment to your Christmas table.
Our Christmas Bells Design has a stunning wreath consisting of sugar-crafted Christmas bellflowers, which are native to NSW.
Sugar flower sprays can be carefully removed and kept as a keepsake from the gift if desired.
Our address is 651 Samford Road, Mitchelton. We have limited parking in our rear car park. Ellworthy Street nearby also provides street parking.
Collections can be made during our opening hours. If you fail to attend our store during opening hours, you may miss out on the collection of your goods. Your order will then be available the next time our store is open. We hold cakes for only one day, so failure to collect on a Saturday may mean your cake will be unavailable and you will need to reorder at your own cost. We are not responsible for reminding you of your collection date, and failure to pick up your goods at the agreed time is not grounds for a refund or cancellation.
If you have opted for our delivery services, you are required to submit information to us to fulfill your order such as address and venue contact details. The information provided must be accurate and kept up to
date. We cannot be held responsible for an inaccurate supply of information,
including incorrect delivery address details. We are also not obliged to
re-send the order to the correct address at our expense.
Any person who accepts the goods at the delivery address will be taken to have been authorised to receive the goods by you. We will not be held responsible for the order once delivery has occurred. If there is no one available to take delivery of the order at the agreed time, and if we are unable to contact you during the delivery process, your order may
be returned to our store. Redelivery may be unavailable, and if possible will incur an additional delivery fee.
Due to the variety of products made in our kitchen we are unable to cater to celiacs, allergy-free requests, or special dietary needs. All of the products made in our kitchen, including those made with gluten-free flour and/or vegan ingredients, may contain traces of gluten, eggs, soy, dairy and nuts. This includes decorations and cakes/icings. We use a variety of natural and artificial food colours in our bakery.
Best stored at cool room temperature between 20-25 degrees in the box provided. Do not refrigerate, or if you must bring back to room temperature before eating.
Best consumed within 1-2 days.
Leftover cakes can be cut, wrapped in cling film and refrigerated for 1 week. Frozen leftovers can be defrosted and consumed up to 3 months.
